Taking Your Scrapbook Digital: Things to Consider

This is attractive to many enthusiasts because it eliminates waste and mess, saves on money, and alleviates trips to the store. Pages are simply saved on the computer versus taking up space. If all of these reasons are appealing, there are a few things to think about before digitally creating your first scrapbook page.

Don't break the bank to find great digital software, but spend enough to have the range of creativity you desire. When looking online for a product, take advantage of the trial period available and test out the product before purchase. After finding software, learn the simple functions first and move onto more complex functions later. Get a good grasp of the software before downloading a theme or different kits available online.

Once you've mastered your software and you understand the ins and outs of the product, download images while following the unspoken rules of the scrapbooking community. Remember, above all, to stay organized. You will no longer have the physical disorganization of supplies like card stock and paper; however it is still possible to become disorganized. Make sure to keep up with albums and do not let them go for several months.
