My mother's 90th birthday party was last December. Family flew to New York from all over the country—children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren from Maine, Massachusetts, Florida, and California. My job was to figure out how to get everyone from the various New York airports to my mother’s home. I had a car, but it wasn’t big enough to carry my nephew’s whole family and all the baby paraphernalia. I considered the options, including renting a bigger car, calling a taxi, borrowing a second car, and decided to hire a New York airport car service, or limousine.
Hiring a limousine seemed like such an extravagance at the time, but believe me, it was the best decision I’ve made in a long time. My niece and nephew and their babies arrived calm and happy, ready to celebrate and I didn’t have the worry of meeting the airplane and picking them up. At the end of the weekend, the punctual driver picked them up and conveyed them safely back to the airport. And, it was not that expensive after all.
As I said, I first used the airport car service for personal reasons. But since it worked our perfectly for my family, I decided to use it for business trips into and out of the New York airports. The limousine pays for itself because I work while I’m being driven to the airport. The car is very comfortable and the ride is so smooth it’s easy to get work done.
The driver puts my luggage in the trunk of the car and then carries it to curbside check-in at the airport. I don’t have to life a finger. I have been amazed at how much more productive my trips are since I’ve been using the airport car service. I arrive relaxed, refreshed, and prepared for the day’s work.
When my business partners come to New York for meetings, I always send a limousine to the airport for them. They appreciate the extra consideration and always comment on the professionalism of the drivers.
I don’t need extra security, but for anyone who does, many car services provide armored limousines. Really, whatever your business transportation needs, a high quality limousine company can make the necessary arrangements to accommodate you.
